Az oszás művelet úgy működik, hogy ha egész típusú adatot egész típusú adattal osztunk, akkor az eredmény is egész lesz (egész osztás, vagy "dice"), ha valós adatot valóssal osztunk, akkor az eredmény is valós.

Ha azt szeretnénk, hogy a kiírt eredmény az általunk választott adattípusban jelenjen meg, akkor azt úgy tehetjük meg, hogy a kifejezés elé zárójelben odaírjuk az adattípust. (Típuskonverzió)
